Strings broken or feeling too loose?

Get your control back in the game.

How often should you restring your racquet?

Strings generally last 3 to 6 months before they start getting loose and sometimes unplayable. Also, as a general rule you should restring each year as often as you play per week, for example: play twice a week, then you should restring 2 times per year.

All strings gradually stretch, loose their resiliency or go dead even if you play infrequently.

Are your strings starting to move around too much?

To effectively create spin on the ball you need your strings to snap back into position quickly, once this stops happening you will loose spin and feel on the ball.

How do I know if my tennis racquet needs restringing?

If your strings are fraying or look shaggy, the strings are starting to come apart and you’re not going to get as much power and control when you hit the ball.

What condition is your grip in?

A poor replacement grip/overgrip can lead to small slipping during the shot and sometimes even making a racquet slip out completely during a serve, damaging your frame. Old grips can also cause blisters that can be painful.
