About Tennis One Academy

We’re passionate about tennis

We want to make tennis more accessible for everyone who is dedicated to learning this great game.

All our coaches have at least 5 years experience, have been involved in high competitive tennis and have completed a minimum Tennis Australia Level 1 Junior Development qualification. Their unique approach with players of any age, ability and strive for new and modern ideas has increased student participation and desire to attend every lesson.

We have just undergone a $500,000 court upgrade and are now a multi-surface venue! Our club now features 3 Australian Open Blue Plexipave Hard courts and 3 Synthetic Grass courts.

Tennis One head coach is the highly energetic Marcel Pietrasik.

Formerly from Europe, he made his dive into tennis at the early age of 5. As a top junior in Victoria, Marcel decided to start travelling Australia participating in national and international ranking tournaments. By 18 he gathered up 32 trophies from his junior wins. During the transition into seniors he decided coaching was where his passion truly lay and found it extremely rewarding.

Marcel has the highest Tennis Australia qualification, Level 2 Club Professional, recognised by the ITF (International Tennis Federation). With 2 decades of coaching experience, he is excited about passing down his abilities, knowledge and secrets of the game. Marcel’s passion stretches from organising enjoyable and fun lessons for young kids to creating performance and technique based lessons for elite players active in competitions.
